The new week begins, and as every Monday, a new blog post from Anastasia and Skevi.
So, here comes the moment when we suggest you take a break as we share something with you. Yesterday afternoon we made cake and coffee that smelled amazing while we organized our creative thoughts and plans for the new week. As we were discussing, I read one of my older creative musings to Anastasia. Her reaction showed just how much she wanted to share it with you, too.
“But where did they hide?
Behind masks?
Or behind the lie?
In the heart of a barren land…
-Where did the smile go?
-Where did the joy go?
Nowhere… just kidding.
This classic ‘just kidding’, which is an uncomfortable truth and an incessant lie.
Without a mouth…
Without lips…
Love drowned in the river of oblivion.
-‘Don’t kiss me on the eyes.’
That look it bestowed, the fairy of the winds saw and painted smiles.
…But she hid them inside a handkerchief
…and the eyelids, in the darkness, count your luminous mistakes in terror!”
In the end, do we wear masks to cover something or to show something that we otherwise dare not?
This week marks the last of Carnival. We wish everyone a time filled with laughter, fun, and joy!
And you, which mask do you choose to wear?
And don’t forget to leave us your email so you never miss a new blog post!
We hope you enjoyed our company—until our next meeting, next Monday.
Have a wonderful, creative week!
