Hygeia – Where Roses Bloom from Stone
Inspired by the ancient Greek goddess of health, this piece portrays her as a serene young woman seated upon a rock. At her feet, two vivid red roses bloom, emerging from the stone, symbols of resilience, beauty, and inner strength.
Through this contrast the hardness of the rock and the delicacy of the flower I sought to express the essence of health:
“the quiet strength and harmony that allow life to flourish.”
