LIPS SHOUTING OUT LOUD
The greatest enemy is not outside it resides within.
The tallest walls and heaviest chains are often self-made.
With a piece of charcoal in hand, the artist begins to draw around the body its own contour —
a shape that symbolizes safety, rules, and boundaries set to protect oneself.
These are the limits we create, believing them to be right, “good,” and acceptable.
Yet, no matter how far we stretch,
no matter how far we try to reach,
we remain trapped inside the frame we have built ourselves.
The lips shout out loud —
they cry out so powerfully that they break the silence,
even if no sound can be heard.
Inside and outside blur,
and human beings imprison their own freedom
within rules and fears that dress safety as a cage.
LIPS SHOUTING OUT LOUD
is a call from the soul that refuses to be silenced,
despite the boundaries it has imposed.
It reminds us that we are both the guards and prisoners of our own minds.
And that the first step toward freedom
is to recognize it, embrace it,
and dare to break our own walls.
